John Key and David Cunliffe are taking part in a Leaders Debate in St Margaret College’s Charles Luney Auditorium on the night of Tuesday September 2nd.

Keep Our Assets Canterbury invites you to join us on a picket outside the school.

We will be meeting at 6 p.m. outside the Shrewsbury Street entrance to the school.

We will be there to make the point that the threatened sale of
Grab the Flyer
Christchurch’s assets is a national, not merely a local, issue. Productive, moneymaking, socially useful assets owned by the people of Christchurch should not be sold to pay for loss making Government white elephants, such as the proposed covered rugby stadium and the convention centre. We want both Key and Cunliffe to know that.

We will be there with our Keep Our Assets banner and our newly made white elephant. And we will have a leaflet to distribute to those attending the debate.

This is an information picket, not a protest.  We won’t be going into the debate (entry is by ticket only).

The picket will be on regardless of weather.
